Battle of Religions

Since religion influences people’s social behavior, therefore it influences the social order. It influences and is influenced by the other institutions of the society. In societies where the judicial institution does not exist, religion can serve as an important means of social control. Moreover, in modern societies the influences of religion on a society’s politics are evident and particularly important. Since religion has authority among its followers, it can support the legitimacy of a political system, or it can be a force to remove a corrupt government. Religions bring people together in a certain religious setting or event where they cooperate in performing rituals. Even in simple societies, group activities involve in a division of labor that differentiates the religious practitioners from the members of religious organizations. Hence, religion is, indeed, a social organization.

Central to the practice of religion is the observance of religious rituals. Some rituals are very simple, consisting of a single symbolic act like kneeling in Christianity religion. Its belief is the divinity of Jesus Christ, who is viewed as God's only child, the savior of the world, and the guarantor of life after death. The Bible is their important source of beliefs for Christians. In Islam's religion, unlike Jesus Christ, is not considered divine but for them Allah's (God's) human messenger to the world. The Koran is the Islam’s Bible, it teaches inner peace through submission to the will of Allah. They are amazing because they prayed five times a day.

Another is the religion of Hinduism, in here people believes in reincarnation and the purification of soul in each reincarnation, until Nirvana is attained. If the person is not yet perfected, he or she has to undergo several reincarnations until perfection is reached. In Buddhism also, the teachings are arising from an unusual concern about human suffering by Siddhartha Gautama. Buddhism's fundamental view of human beings is that they are like all other things impermanent, always changing.

The Twin ideas of "Jen" and "Li" are often said to constitute the main ideas of Confucianism. "Jen" and "Li" are two of the Confucianism virtues which must be cultivated by a person as a moral and social being. Since Confucianism has a central body of beliefs and practices, it is treated as a religion, although Confucius was not concerned with mysticism and practices but his major concerns were to encourage individuals who can carry the twin characteristics "of sageliness within and kingliness without". For Judaism, their first monotheistic religion is God or Yahweh, they established a covenant with the Jewish people through Abraham, the founder of the religion. Its major beliefs are contained in the Old Testament.

Individuals are more than willing to undertake dangerous tasks because their religious beliefs promise safety or rewards in the next life that's why we should respect each other’s religions psychological effects on the emotional life of humans include confidence and feelings of security.
